The requirement to allocate at least 30% of shelf space in retail outlets for domestic products is being maintained. In certain product categories, the share of locally produced goods on store shelves has reached 80%. Shelves featuring domestic products are marked with special “Made in Kazakhstan” labels.
This was announced by North Kazakhstan Region Akim Gauez Nurmukhambetov during a Government meeting.
To develop direct sales channels, farmers’ markets featuring local agricultural producers are being held on a regular basis. Since the beginning of the year, 183 fairs have been organized. These events allow agricultural producers to sell their products directly to consumers, helping provide residents with high-quality food products at affordable prices.
