A creative industries fair featuring products and projects from Turkestan Region was held at the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana as part of the national Creative Aimaq project.
A total of 50 creators from the region presented their products and projects. Visitors and residents of the capital had the opportunity to purchase souvenirs, jewelry, traditional carpets, contemporary designer clothing, dombra instruments and traditional horse-riding equipment, as well as items made of felt, wood and ceramics, decorative panels, silk scarves, traditional skullcaps, көрпеше quilts and bags.
Over the two days, the fair attracted around 5,200 visitors. Direct sales of creative products reached KZT 21 million.
The business and cultural program included workshops, as well as presentations of startups and innovative projects incorporating artificial intelligence and digital technologies. The event also featured a fashion show and a concert program.
Participation in the fair gave regional creators an opportunity to showcase their products to the capital’s audience, establish direct contacts with potential customers and partners, and increase awareness of their brands.
The Creative Aimaq project continues. Zhambyl Region will be the next to showcase its creative products.
