The Head of State emphasized that the first composition of the Quryltai carries a special responsibility. Deputies must remain faithful to the mandate of the people and serve the interests of the state. This is an undeniable truth that must never be forgotten.
“Today, our country has embarked on a broad path of development and entered a new stage of progress. This year, many historic events of great importance for the future of Kazakhstan have taken place.
In a short period of time, our people, united as one nation, have accomplished a great deal. Kazakhstan has successfully implemented a large-scale constitutional reform through a nationwide referendum. Thus, we adopted a true People’s Constitution.
The entry into force of the new Constitution can be regarded as one of the most important turning points in the history of our country. As a result, a strong legal foundation has been established, opening the way for the country’s further development and prosperity.
The foundation has been laid for an entirely new political and legal system capable of responding to the challenges of the modern era.
This system will enable the comprehensive modernization of the state structure, enhance the effectiveness of government institutions, and create genuine opportunities for citizens to participate in the governance of the country,” the President said.
