The volume of food production in Kazakhstan reached 4 trillion tenge by the end of 2025, increasing by 8.4%.
In the first half of 2026, the sector maintained strong growth momentum, with production volumes rising by 14.7% compared to the same period last year.
“Investment in the fixed capital of the agro-industrial complex has also demonstrated steady positive dynamics, reaching 1.6 trillion tenge, which is 46% higher than the previous year’s level. In the first half of 2026, investment in the fixed capital of the agro-industrial complex amounted to 926 billion tenge, increasing by 55% compared to the same period last year,” said Azat Sultanov, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at a Government meeting.
