In Shymkent, strength athlete Artyk Dosaliyev set a world record by pulling a 17-ton bus with his teeth.
A crowd gathered at the venue to support the athlete during the extraordinary challenge. Using a special strap held between his teeth, Artyk Dosaliyev managed to move the heavy bus from a standstill and pull it forward.
The record attempt was witnessed by Kuandyk Kudaibergenov, Chief Officer of GBR (Global Best of Records) for Asia and Africa and an official representative responsible for registering and certifying unique official records in Kazakhstan.
According to him, a world record was set in Shymkent, while four world records were broken during the event.
Artyk Dosaliyev said he had spent around six months preparing for the record attempt. He also thanked FC Ordabasy for providing the 17-ton bus he used for his training.
The record holder said he was confident in his abilities and did not feel nervous during the challenge. However, he warned that such an attempt should not be repeated without proper preparation, stressing that pulling a heavy vehicle with one’s teeth is extremely dangerous and requires extensive training.
