The official results of the election of deputies to the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been announced. According to the Central Election Commission, more than 12.623 million voters were included in the nationwide voter list.
On election day, more than 51,000 national observers and over 7,000 authorized representatives of political parties monitored the voting process to ensure transparency and fairness.
Overall, 74.8% of registered voters took part in the election.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nurlan Abdirov announced the distribution of votes as follows:
- Adilet Party — 6,528,948 votes, or 71.17%;
- Auyl Party — 574,621 votes, or 6.26%;
- Respublica Party — 509,631 votes, or 5.56%;
- Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan — 478,083 votes, or 5.21%;
- National Social Democratic Party — 469,058 votes, or 5.11%;
- People’s Party of Kazakhstan — 285,395 votes, or 3.11%;
- Baytaq Green Party of Kazakhstan — 97,751 votes, or 1.07%;
- Against All — 230,446 votes, or 2.51%.
The election campaign was also closely monitored by 7,777 observers representing foreign states and international organizations. The election was covered by 1,852 representatives of domestic media outlets and 117 accredited foreign journalists.
“Going forward, the Central Election Commission will continue, in accordance with the procedure established by law, its work to finalize the election results and register the elected deputies,” Nurlan Abdirov said.
In accordance with constitutional provisions, the Central Election Commission is required to establish the final results of the Kurultai election no later than 10 days from the date of voting and officially publish them in the mass media.
The CEC said it would additionally announce the exact date and time of the meeting at which the final results will be established.
