Over the past few years, the number of citizens visiting Public Service Centers (PSCs) in Kazakhstan has decreased by 30%.
This is largely due to the growing availability of government services online, including digital signature issuance, initial vehicle registration, land plot documentation and cadastral passports for real estate.
As a result, the format of PSCs is undergoing a major transformation. They are being redesigned as open, comfortable spaces where citizens can access services without waiting in queues.
Around 70% of the total area of the new offices is allocated to an express service zone. Visitors can independently access government services through self-service terminals equipped with the eGov GPT digital assistant.
The offices also include expert and training areas, where consultants can provide assistance to citizens when needed.
The first modern office was opened in Zhezkazgan. Digital offices were subsequently launched in Turkistan, Astana and Satpayev.
In just a few months, the digital offices have served more than 4,000 people.
This was announced at a Government meeting by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev.
