Kazakhstan is strengthening state support for national culture and the arts. The New Constitution enshrines comprehensive support for national culture at the highest legal level as one of the fundamental principles of the state.
In this regard, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has decided to include the “Shamshi Kaldaiakov” Medal in the list of state awards and establish the honorary title “Honored Artist of Kazakhstan.”
The new awards will be presented to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of national culture, including achievements in music and visual arts.
The initiative is aimed at supporting cultural and artistic figures, preserving Kazakhstan’s national cultural heritage and promoting the further development of the country’s culture.
