The implementation of hospital pharmacy departments is continuing step by step in medical organizations across the city of Shymkent.
The new system is designed to improve the management of medicines, ensure their safe and rational use, and enhance the quality of medical care provided to patients.
Previously, hospital pharmacy departments had been operating in 8 medical organizations in the city. Today, new departments have been opened in 3 additional healthcare facilities. Another medical organization is also expected to launch a similar department in the near future.
The newly established departments are located at:
- Shymkent City Mental Health Center;
- City Infectious Diseases Hospital;
- “Khadisha” Clinic.
As a result, hospital pharmacy departments are now operating in 11 medical organizations across Shymkent.
Improving Medicine Management and Patient Safety
The activities of hospital pharmacy departments help improve the processes of medicine storage, accounting, and use. They also contribute to increasing the safety of drug therapy and strengthening the efficiency of pharmaceutical supply systems within medical institutions.
The introduction of hospital pharmacy services is an important step toward modernizing healthcare management, improving medication supply systems, and further enhancing the quality of medical services provided to residents.
This initiative reflects the ongoing efforts to introduce modern healthcare management approaches and create safer and more effective treatment conditions for patients.
