The team of civil servants from the Turkistan Region achieved strong results at the national sports competition among employees of local executive bodies held in Kokshetau, Akmola Region.
The representatives of Turkistan Region won a total of 7 medals, including 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze medals. As a result, the regional team secured 5th place in the overall team ranking.
Victories Across Multiple Sports Disciplines
One of the team’s major achievements was the victory of the volleyball team, which demonstrated excellent performance and took first place in the competition.
Individual athletes also achieved impressive results. In swimming, Raikhan Tolemutarova became a silver medalist.
In chess competitions, Zamira Panzabekova won a bronze medal.
The team achieved special success in the traditional Kazakh intellectual game toguz kumalak. Yermek Agabek became the champion in the individual competition, while the Turkistan Region team took third place in the overall team standings in this discipline.
In Kazakh wrestling (kazakh kuresi), Shokan Beisenbiyev earned a bronze medal.
In the doubles tennis tournament, the pair of Bagdat Rakhyshbayev and Serik Orazalin took third place.
