A fire broke out in a residential building on Adi Sharipov Street in Almaty.
According to the Almaty Department of Emergency Situations, the fire started in the building’s cable shaft. Due to the complexity of the incident, firefighting units were deployed under an elevated response level.
Rescuers arrived at the scene within five minutes of receiving the emergency call. Specialized gas and smoke protection teams organized the evacuation of residents and carried out rescue operations.
Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to accurately locate the source of the fire. Thanks to their prompt and coordinated actions, the fire was brought under control.
