More than 4,000 first-graders with special educational needs will start attending mainstream schools across Kazakhstan in the new academic year. This was reported by the Ministry of Education in response to an inquiry from Kazinform.
Special conditions and support measures will be provided to help these children adapt to the educational process and feel comfortable in the school environment.
More than 6,000 teaching assistants
More than 6,000 teaching assistants will work in schools during the new academic year. They will provide individual support to children with special educational needs, assist them during lessons and help them adapt to the school environment.
In addition, special support rooms will operate in mainstream schools. Children will be able to receive the necessary psychological and pedagogical assistance there.
These measures are aimed at developing inclusive education and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
According to the Ministry of Education, particular attention in the new academic year will be paid to creating an accessible and comfortable learning environment for children with special educational needs.
