A renovated House of Veterans has opened in the Tulkubas District of Turkistan Region, becoming a new public and cultural center designed to bring local residents together and promote social harmony and national unity.
The opening ceremony was attended by Nuralhan Kusherov, Akim of Turkistan Region. During his visit, he toured the new facility, reviewed its amenities and spoke with respected elders and veterans of the district.
Construction of the facility has been fully completed. The modern building can accommodate up to 100 people and has been equipped in accordance with current standards. It provides suitable conditions for public, cultural, educational and spiritual events.
The construction works were carried out by Batsu-Vodokanal LLP.
The House of Veterans will primarily serve as a meeting place for members of the district’s veteran community. It will provide opportunities for veterans to participate actively in public life, organize various events and contribute to strengthening intergenerational continuity.
The new facility is expected to become an important platform for community dialogue, the implementation of public initiatives and the preservation of the traditions and values of the older generation.
