As of August 1, 2026, a total of 388,512 people have found employment in Kazakhstan. Measures to support employment continue to be implemented across the country, with a particular focus on providing citizens with permanent jobs.
Since the beginning of the year, 293,241 people have secured permanent employment, accounting for the majority of all those who have found jobs.
Permanent employment provides citizens with a stable source of income. When employment is officially registered, workers can also benefit from the labour and social guarantees provided by Kazakhstan’s legislation.
The positive employment trend is supported by the development of digital services in the labour market, including the Electronic Labour Exchange, as well as closer cooperation with employers. These tools help match employers’ vacancies with job seekers’ needs more efficiently and assist citizens in finding suitable employment.
At the same time, professional training programmes and other employment support measures continue to be implemented. These initiatives are aimed at improving citizens’ competitiveness in the labour market and helping them acquire skills that are in demand.
The ongoing measures are intended to expand employment opportunities and support citizens in securing stable and sustainable sources of income.
