A ceremonial event dedicated to honoring military personnel and recognizing outstanding service members was held at Military Unit 5574 in Turkistan.
The event was attended by First Deputy Akim of Turkistan Region Zulfukhar Zholdassov, Major General Bolat Kalmurzayev, Head of the Turkistan Region Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Prosecutor Bauyrzhan Myrzakerov.
During the ceremony, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Tolegen Shynybekov, Commander of Military Unit 5574, was awarded the “For Combat Merit” (“Zhauyngerlik erligi ushin”) Medal for exemplary performance of his duties and a high level of professionalism demonstrated during the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
In addition, Major General of Police Arystangani Zapparov was awarded a commemorative badge marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the “Bürkit” special units of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The award was presented pursuant to an order of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard.
During the ceremony, by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Senior Sergeant Bekzhigit Beknazarov, Head of Physical Training and Sports at Military Unit 5574, was awarded his first officer rank — Lieutenant.
The ceremony highlighted the military personnel’s dedication to their duty, professionalism and responsibility. The servicemen were thanked for their honest service to the Motherland and their commitment to fulfilling their duties with distinction.
