As part of the implementation of the President’s directives on the recovery of illegally acquired and transferred assets, KZT 5.5 billion from the Special State Fund has been allocated for the construction of a new secondary school in the Zhetisu Region.
The 600-seat school is being built in the village of Balpyk Bi, Koksu District. The project is aimed at addressing population growth and the increasing pressure on existing educational infrastructure. The new school will provide children with access to modern educational facilities close to their homes.
Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
Overall, as part of the asset recovery efforts, the Government has approved funding for more than 500 social projects worth KZT 610 billion. The funds are being used to construct and modernize education, healthcare, sports and utility infrastructure across the country.
In the education sector, 17 projects worth KZT 64.4 billion are currently being implemented.
