Students of S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (KazATZU) have received their delayed scholarships for July and August. The funds were transferred on August 7, the same day the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan responded to the editorial inquiry and confirmed that the payments had been delayed.
Previously, students had been informed that their scholarships for July and August would be transferred only after September 10.
In its response to the editorial inquiry, the Ministry of Agriculture reported that an internal review was being conducted and stated that the university was taking the necessary measures to resolve the issue. However, the ministry’s response did not mention that the outstanding payments had already been settled.
Nevertheless, the funds owed to the students were credited to their accounts on the same day.
According to KazATZU representatives, the delayed scholarships were paid from the university’s own funds. The university also clarified that the payment delay affected only part of the student body.
Thus, the issue of the delayed scholarship payments was resolved well before the previously announced date of September 10.
