The Ak Zhol Party’s campaign headquarters in Shymkent has summarized the results of its work over the past week.
During this period, the campaign team organized various forums and held meetings with entrepreneurs, veterans, representatives of the intelligentsia, young people, and employees of government institutions.
One of the most significant meetings was held with representatives of the railway industry, where participants raised pressing issues and concerns facing industry professionals.
“Railways are the lifeblood of our economy. Railway workers were very pleased with the meeting, as no member of Parliament had visited them before. They spoke about their concerns, many of which have remained unresolved. We documented all of their appeals. We are the Ak Zhol Party, and they are railway workers. We came to wish them an ‘ak zhol’ — a good and successful journey. If we become members of the Mazhilis, we will do our best to address the issues they have raised,” said Kazybek Issa, Deputy Chairman of the Ak Zhol Democratic Party and a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the 7th convocation.
Party representatives also emphasized that none of the proposals or opinions expressed during meetings with representatives of the intelligentsia, visits to nursing homes, or conversations with citizens at shopping centers would be left without attention. According to the party members, each of the issues raised is important to society.
The party’s youth wing is also actively participating in the election campaign.
“Our youth wing is working with great enthusiasm. As the great Kazakh poet of the Alash movement Magzhan Zhumabayev said, ‘We believe in the youth.’ We also believe in young people. When I came to Shymkent, I saw how active and motivated the city’s youth are. Young people are at the forefront. After all, youth is the driving force of society. Creating all the necessary conditions for young people is one of the priorities of our programme,” Kazybek Issa said.
The campaign headquarters noted that efforts to collect citizens’ proposals and appeals will continue. Particular attention is being paid to issues that concern residents of the city and are important for the further development of society and the country.
