I sincerely congratulate you all on Abai Day!
The creative and intellectual legacy of the great thinker holds a special place among the treasures of both world and national culture. Abai’s teachings are our spiritual beacon and an unwavering guiding light.
The poet spoke openly about pressing issues that concerned society, calling on our people to stay away from complacency and laziness. The thinker’s concept of the “Complete Human Being” is a profound idea that encourages every citizen to strive for spiritual growth and remains relevant at all times.
This year, Abai Day coincides with large-scale transformations taking place in our country. Kazakhstan’s People’s Constitution has entered into force, and a process of fundamental modernization of all institutions of government has begun. This is truly a pivotal period that will shape our long-term development trajectory.
Soon, for the first time in the country’s history, elections to the Kurultai will be held. A unicameral Parliament will undoubtedly provide fresh momentum for the high-quality and effective implementation of reforms.
The ultimate purpose of these changes is to instill the values of creation and progress in the minds of citizens and pave the way for Kazakhstan’s accelerated development.
In shaping a new social ethic, strengthening national identity, and promoting humanistic ideals, we always turn to Abai. The great poet emphasized the importance of education, diligence, and responsibility for the future of the nation, and foresaw the need to preserve unity and harmony in society.
The wisdom of Abai’s Words of Edification fully resonates with the values of modern Kazakhstan. The guiding principles of “Honest Citizen,” “Clean Kazakhstan,” and “Law and Order” form a solid foundation for the prosperous society envisioned by Abai.
That is why we are building a Just, Advanced, and Strong Kazakhstan.
I am confident that the rich legacy of the great thinker will continue to serve as a source of spiritual nourishment in raising the younger generation in the spirit of genuine patriotism and love for their homeland.
