A round table dedicated to the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Shymkent.
Representatives of the intelligentsia, rectors and teaching staff of higher educational institutions, maslikhat deputies, heads of boards, public organizations and young people participated in the important gathering, and the significance of the new Constitution for the development of the country was widely discussed.
During the round table, the historical role of the new Constitution in forming a legal state, strengthening the rule of law, protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, and developing education, science and innovation was comprehensively discussed. Also, special attention was paid to the new constitutional principles in the direction of expanding the opportunities of civil society to participate in state management, strengthening social harmony and unity.
Within the framework of the event, young scientist Dina Nurzhanbaykyn, who makes a significant contribution to the development of the country’s engineering potential, was solemnly presented with a letter of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev and a special edition of the new Constitution of Kazakhstan.
