Kazakhstan’s Zhaniya Bekmukhambetova claimed the gold medal at the WTT Youth Contender tournament held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Competing in the Girls’ Under-13 (U13) category, Bekmukhambetova delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament before securing the title in the final.
In the championship match, the young Kazakh player defeated Shreoshri Chakraborty of India 3-1 to capture the gold medal.
The victory marks another promising achievement for Kazakhstan’s rising table tennis talent on the international stage.
