Systematic efforts to provide residents of Ordabasy District with affordable housing are continuing. One of the key measures to address the housing needs of local residents is the provision of mortgage-based housing on accessible terms.
A total of 152 mortgage apartments have currently been allocated in the district. The process is being carried out in stages, with 36 applicants already receiving approval from Otbasy Bank.
Income verification for the remaining applicants is still underway. Once income verification has been completed for all 152 apartments, the authorities will consider holding a new competition for any apartments that remain available.
Otbasy Bank will officially announce the date when the new application process opens.
Applicants for mortgage housing must meet a number of requirements. They must be officially registered as being in need of housing, meet the bank’s lending requirements and have an appropriate credit history.
Applicants must also have a stable source of income sufficient to cover mortgage payments. If their income is not sufficient, they may involve one or two co-borrowers.
Depending on the applicant’s category, housing may be available through mortgage programs with interest rates of 2% or 5%.
Therefore, simply being on the housing waiting list does not guarantee eligibility. Applicants must also meet the bank’s requirements and demonstrate sufficient income to service the mortgage.
The ongoing housing program in Ordabasy District aims to provide residents with greater access to affordable housing under favorable and sustainable financing conditions.
