Elections for the deputies of the Kurultai will be held in Kazakhstan on August 23. On this important day, public transport will operate free of charge in several cities and districts of the Turkistan Region, making it easier for residents to reach polling stations without obstacles.
Free public transportation will be available in the cities of Turkistan and Arys, as well as in the Kazygyurt district. The measure is aimed at facilitating residents’ access to polling stations and creating convenient conditions for citizens to exercise their right to vote.
A total of 1,204,659 voters are registered in the Turkistan Region. On election day, 952 polling stations will operate across the region.
Free public transport will help residents save time and improve access to polling stations, including those located far from residential areas. The measure will be particularly important for citizens who rely on public transportation in their daily lives.
