A new investment project is set to be launched in Kazakhstan’s Turkistan Region. Sairam Biogas and Fertilizers Factory LLP plans to establish an integrated fertilizer production facility and a biogas plant in the region.
The project was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Governor of Turkistan Region Kanat Kaiypbek and the company’s General Director Almaz Tulenov.
Kaiypbek noted that supporting investment projects remains a key priority for the regional administration. According to him, the initiative will strengthen the region’s industrial capacity, promote the production of clean energy, and create new jobs. He also reaffirmed the authorities’ readiness to support economically significant investment projects.
During the meeting, the investors presented the project’s key stages and discussed the development of the necessary engineering infrastructure. The company announced plans to invest KZT 25 billion in the project.
The facility is expected to be built in the Mankent rural district of Sairam District, covering an area of 17.29 hectares. The project is expected to create 100 new jobs.
Once operational, the plant is designed to generate 4.95 MW of electricity annually. Construction and commissioning are scheduled to take place in phases between 2027 and 2029.
The investment project has already been included in Kazakhstan’s Unified Industrialization Map. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue close cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
