Shymkent continues its systematic efforts to provide housing for citizens in need of state support. Today, a ceremony was held in the Bozaryk residential area to hand over the keys to new apartments. Another 40 families have received comfortable homes and the opportunity to begin a new chapter in their lives.
The ceremony was attended by Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov, who congratulated the new residents and wished their families prosperity, happiness and comfort in their new homes.
Residents were provided with fully finished one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments on a rental basis. The housing program also provides an opportunity to purchase the apartments at a later stage. Priority was given to socially vulnerable families, including single mothers, parents raising children with special needs, and single-parent households.
For many of the new residents, receiving the keys was a long-awaited and significant event. The new apartments will provide families with better living conditions and a stable environment for raising children and planning for the future.
Providing affordable and comfortable housing remains one of Shymkent’s key social priorities. This year, the city plans to commission a total of 7,386 apartments. So far, 3,370 apartments have already been handed over to residents. The remaining housing units will be distributed in stages by the end of the year.
The implementation of housing programs is helping address one of the most important social issues – improving access to safe and comfortable housing. For families who have been waiting for better living conditions, receiving a new apartment is an important step toward greater stability and a better quality of life.
For the 40 families in Bozaryk, today marks the beginning of a new stage. The keys they received open the doors not only to new homes, but also to new opportunities, plans and hopes for a brighter future.
