Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva, reported at the Government meeting about the ongoing work on the implementation of the tasks of the Head of State on the implementation of the principles established in the new Constitution.
He noted that the values established in the new Constitution – justice, rule of law, respect for people, national identity and social responsibility – are the main basis not only of today’s Kazakhstan, but also of tomorrow’s generation.
He also noted that 18 more laws are being amended in order to comply with the requirements of the Constitution. In particular, on freedom of speech and dissemination of information, activities of religious organizations, holding of peaceful meetings, support of volunteer activities, charity, culture, cinematography, as well as other legislative changes arising directly from the Constitution will be introduced.
