President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Atyrau Region Governor (Akim) Bolat Akchulakov to discuss the implementation of major investment projects, the development of the oil and gas chemical industry, and the construction of social and engineering infrastructure.
During the meeting, Akchulakov briefed the President on the region’s socio-economic development and the progress of key investment initiatives.
The discussion focused on economic diversification, modernization of utility networks, improvement of transport infrastructure, environmental rehabilitation, and the implementation of projects requiring support at the national level.
Following the meeting, President Tokayev instructed regional authorities to continue efforts aimed at ensuring the sustainable socio-economic development of the Atyrau Region and improving the quality of life for its residents.
